Wow, Best Golf Equipment Reviews just found out that Pro Golf Discount is closing down in San Diego after 17 years. They have been on of the best golf shops in San Diego for some time. Looks like the to go to San Diego golf stores are now The Golf Mart. Pro Golf Discount was always known for a geeky salesman on the commericals. One thing they did though was they always had cheap golf clubs and cheap golf equipment.
Best Golf Equipment Reviews went into Pro Golf Discount after learing they were closing to take a look at thier stuff. As of last week they still had a pretty decent selection of the best golf clubs, best golf shoes, and accessories. Two golf clubs caught my attention when I was there, the TaylorMade R9 drivers and the Callaway X22 irons.
Best Golf Equipment Reviews has made it clear that those are some of the best golf clubs you can buy. The TaylorMade R9 drivers were avialble in most lofts and flexes while the Callaway X22 golf clubs were only aviable in Men's steel or graphite. They were marked down a little, but I would wait another week or so and see if they drop the prices of them some more.
I did purchase a new Ping golf bag when I was there. My old Sun Mountain bag was ready for retirement so I figured I would go back to a Ping golf bag. Ping golf bags are so lightweight and perfect for walking that it is hard not to think of them as being the best golf bag for walking.
